To Whom it May Concern:

 

     The 5th District Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) of Illinois is asking for your support!  We are looking for donations of goods and/or money to help with "Operation Christmas Cheer," for our hospitalized veterans.  The more than 250 veterans that our efforts support each year would say thank you for your support.  Our motto in the VFW is to "Honor the Dead by Helping the Living."

 

     All donations of goods will go into a gift box and all monies donated will go directly to purchasing itmes for the boxes.  This year our veterans will receive their boxes around December 3.

 

    Operation Christmas Cheer has been spreading cheer to our veterans for 56 years!  As always, we are graciously accepting monetary donations of any amount, however we would also be more than happy to receive 250 of the same items from your company or organization to go into the gift boxes.  If you are interested in donating items, please reach out to us at the information below:
